  1. Thank you all for taking your time to make each square. I know each that each and every stitch was made with love. Thank you, FALLEN SOLDIERS, for your service so that we can have our freedom. We also need to remember these families who have lost their love ones so that we can continue to have our freedom. To the children who has lost a Father or Mother, we want you to know that we as a nation do love and care about you. May God bless you all and keep his wonderful and loving hands upon you.

  2. Thank you to the compilation team for putting all those squares together! I enjoyed making them, but don’t like the sewing together part. How fun to see (possibly?) my squares in the stocking and knowing they will be used later for a good cause plus the donation to Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation from the yarn I purchased.

  3. Woo Hoo! Love the photo of me hugging Mikey! :D

  4. I wished you had taken more pictures of the stocking at different places on the stocking. As it is we just keep seeing the same afghans over and over. I sent in four and only could see one that was maybe one of them. It’s for a good cause and I was glad to participate. I enjoy making items for worthwhile causes.

  5. I was very proud to have been one of the crocheters who helped make this stocking, GOOD job everyone

  6. I don’t know if my blanket was in there, but I was happy to submit it and would like to be a part of any other wonderful things you do.

  7. I was so excited to see my square, and show my family. What a great time, thank you Caron yarn. I hope you do this again next year. I want to help. Thank you.

  10. Thank you to all who either Knitted or Crocheted {{{hugz}}}. This is just awesome! Congratulations!!

But Crocheters we were outranked by the number of Knitters. Next year let’s improve on that ;o) God willing , I will join next year!

I am a Crocheter who desperately wanted to join, but I fell really ill 3 months ago and I am still not doing any better.

My Heart goes to the Children and their families at this time of the year {{{hugz}}}–Sending Love and hugz your way .

  11. I saw the stocking on ABC news yesterday. I was overjoyed at what knitters and crocheters can do. It is so beautiful, and it is for such a good cause. What will happen to it after this year’s display? I think it should tour the country, and perhaps, get more contributions. Thank you.

  12. That is tremendously beautiful. A fine job!!! Everybody should be proud of themselves.

  13. Have used Caron Simply Soft dozens of times, but last shipment by inspiration was disappointing. Yarn was not as silky as I was use to using.

  14. This is awesome. Thank you for donating to the children of fallen soldiers.
