The CAL Photo Challenge 

The Challenge

  • Complete the Stitch, Stop & Roll Afghan. We will be accepting final picture entries via email until February 29, 2016. 
  • You can use any colors you wish.

There will be one challenge for the Stitch, Stop & Roll Afghan that participants can enter.  Winners will be picked by random draw.

Grand Prize: The grand prize will consist of fifty (50) skeins of Bernat Super Value in winner’s choice of color at an approximate retail value of $250.

General Guidelines

  • Each completed project you submit is one entry. You are welcome to submit as many completed projects as you like. If your projects are all the same color/design, you must take a group photo to prove that each item is unique, as each finished project qualifies as one entry.
  • You can choose any colors you wish, and you can mix and match your yarns. Project can be done in solid or mixed colors.
  • No advanced sign-up is required.
  • The challenge is open to all residents of the US and Canada (excluding Quebec).
  • Winners will be chosen at the end of the challenge by random draw, to ensure fairness to all challenge participants.

How To Submit Your Photo

Please email your photo to:

  • Please use Subject Title: Stitch, Stop & Roll CAL 
  • You must include your name and full mailing address to qualify.
  • Attach your photo(s).

If you have forgotten to include your name and address in your email and have to resend, you must send in your photo again with your new email.

Give us a 4 day window to review and enter your photo into our challenge please do not resubmit you entries. We do not acknowledge the arrivals of each email, but you may check our assigned gallery for this draw to ensure we have received it. The galleries are in alphabetical order by the name you gave us.

  1. Was there a drawing for the Stitch, Stop, and Roll CAL? Who was the winner? Rules indicated that the drawing would be done around March 1st.

  2. I have made a boo boo in ordering the kits tried to delete amounts in cart and finished up adding more instead. How can I reset the amounts to one of each instead of three of each Thank you.
    First time ordering over the net big oooooops.

  5. I LOVE this beautiful afghan and so very much appreciate your left handed tutorial! Only thing I can’t figure out is how to do the slip stitches in row 19. Any help would be much appreciated.

  14. What size is the finished afghan?

  15. Hi there! In Mikey’s video, he mentioned signing up for the frequent buyer program to get free shipping with a $50.00 purchase. However, I cannot find where to do that.

  16. Is the afghan completed in one piece, or does it need to be put together?

  17. I would like to join in on the challenge but want to use another color combination. Will there be a list of materials needed for those who do not purchase the kit? The afghan looks fun :)

  18. HELP — My Caron Harvest Red bled into my Caron white in my red, white and blue afghan. It is not red, PINK and blue. I washed it in cold when it bled and let it air dry. HELP

  19. This competition should be open to all the purchase the kit I’m from the UK I have the kit I should be able to post pics of my completed afghan and be eligible to enter the competition.
