The new Caron Mystery Adventure Scarf Knit & Crochet Along is well underway, with lots of involvement all over the place!
If you’ve never done a mystery project with us before, you really should join in. Every scarf will be one of a kind, depending on your choices:
- Will you choose to knit or crochet?
- Which yarn colors will you use? (3 colors – 2 skeins each in Caron United yarn)
- Will you work option A, B, or C each week? (Beginner, Easy, Intermediate)
After signing up, you will receive a new clue every week in your email, until October 14th, 2014. Every clue will include a video tutorial, to help you work every single stitch. And, no worries – you are not alone! There are people joining in all over the globe, who are willing to help you with your project. It is truly a community effort. You’ll find involvement on Facebook, in Ravelry, on Twitter, Pinterest, and in the new updated Yarnspirations Forum.
To make your scarf really unique, choose a different skill level each week. Maybe you’d rather use the beginner design this week. No need to stick with intermediate throughout. Let your creativity blossom with your project, and be sure to share photos of your work in our forum! We want to get to know you. :)
Currently, we are working Clue #2, so it’s not too late to join us. There are so many beautiful scarves in progress, with lovely photos on social media, so take a look and be inspired!
By the way, this month Caron United Yarn is on sale! So grab some skeins for a great price from Yarnspirations – 15 cents from each skein sold goes to Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation to provide college educations to military children who have lost a parent in the line of duty.
